BELIEVE YOUR UNIQUE.
From a young age, Kershall Duhaney, CEO of Dont Panic Clothing, suffered from a language processing disorder – dyslexia, which affected his ability to read, write, and spell. The disorder makes it hard for Kershall to recognise familiar words and means spelling words he knows may take a lot of time. Whilst commuting to London, Kershall would see the same older man doing his newspaper crossword. Completing a crossword could not come naturally to him, so he would use his imagination to create new words that worked best for him to fill out the gaps.
“School was difficult for me; people just thought I was thick, but in Art and Design, I shined, my imagination was unique. I used my strengths to beat my weakness.”
